Meet Tiffany Johnson

My name is Tiffany Johnson, and I am the owner and clinician of Healing Is a Journey LLC, a Texas-based solo private practice providing 100% telehealth mental health services.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Board-Certified Telehealth Professional with 21 years of experience in education and over a decade in the mental health field. My background includes work as a Texas Certified Teacher and School Counselor, which deeply informs my developmentally grounded and systems-aware approach to therapy.

I believe healing is a journey—one intentional step at a time. My role is to offer a calm, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as we work collaboratively toward clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful progress. I place strong value on the therapeutic relationship and, when appropriate, collaborate with caregivers or support systems to enhance continuity of care.

My therapeutic style is client-centered and rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while integrating trauma-informed, play-based, and evidence-informed approaches tailored to individual needs. I support children, teens, adults, and parents navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, parenting stress, identity concerns, burnout, and the emotional demands of high-performance or high-responsibility environments.

All services are provided via secure telehealth platforms to clients across Texas (including Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas), allowing for flexible, private, and accessible care. My commitment is to walk alongside you with professionalism and compassion as you build resilience, strengthen emotional insight, and move toward sustainable wellbeing.
