Insurance & Payment Information
Healing Is a Journey LLC provides outpatient mental health therapy via secure telehealth for clients located in Texas.
To support accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, insurance billing, intake paperwork, and medical records requests are coordinated through a secure third-party billing partner.
You will always receive guidance on where and how to submit forms, verify benefits, and direct billing questions.
Understanding Your Insurance Benefits
Insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan. To avoid unexpected charges and help therapy feel financially manageable, clients are encouraged to review mental health benefits directly with their insurance provider before starting services.
Helpful Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
When you call the number on your insurance card, consider asking:
Do I have outpatient mental health/behavioral health coverage?
Is telehealth therapy covered for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas?
What is my copay or coinsurance for:
an initial intake session
ongoing individual therapy
parent or parent–child sessions (if applicable)
Do I have a deductible? If so, has it been met?
Are there session limits or prior authorization requirements?
Is this provider considered in-network for my plan?
After services begin, our billing partner can assist with plan-specific billing questions (claims, EOBs, balances, and eligibility details).
