Telehealth Services & Location Requirement
All services offered by Healing Is a Journey LLC are provided exclusively via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. Clients must be physically located within the state of Texas at the time of each session. Services cannot be provided to individuals located outside of Texas.
Telehealth services are intended for outpatient mental health care and are not appropriate for emergency or crisis situations.

Scope of Practice & Professional Boundaries
Healing Is a Journey LLC provides outpatient mental health therapy services only. The practice does not offer:
Custody evaluations
Parenting time recommendations
Court-ordered or forensic assessments
Mediation or parenting coordination services
Legal opinions or testimony outside ethical scope
Providing both therapy and evaluative services would constitute a conflict of interest and is not offered
Services for Minors
Therapy services for minors require consent from a parent or legal guardian. Confidentiality limits and information-sharing expectations are discussed during the intake process and reviewed as clinically appropriate.
Privacy & Electronic Communication
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect personal information submitted through this website. However, no internet-based communication system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. By using this website, you acknowledge the inherent risks of electronic communication.
